Illustrated tights advertisement

This illustration by Robert Passantino, entitled 'Free Form' appeared in a 1970 edition of Women's Wear Daily as an advertisment for tights, which were extremely popular at the time worn with mini skirts, hotpants and jumpsuits.

Vintage Charnos

We found these vintage Charnos tights in a charity shop yesterday. The woman in the shop thought they were from the 60s or 70s, although I think the illustrated package could be even older. I love the 'Dandy Longlegs' ones, very cool!

H&M retro packaging

Another gorgeous packaging example, this time from high street fashion brand H&M. I love how the imagery looks like line drawings from an old pattern book, and the simple use of black and white over a feminine, sugar pink background.

Love this gorgeous packaging from Urban Outfitters for their opaque tights collection. Each colourway is teamed with a complimentary pastel coloured band around the package, and contained within a simple, natural toned box. So pretty!
